Dragon Age Origins console commands give you the ability to add talent and skills to characters, XP, play with the AI, toggle god mode, and so much more. All you need to do is to enable the console, find the right keywords/commands, and that’s about it.
But, before that, we highly recommend that you make a backup of the game. After all, console commands can easily end up breaking it.
And with all of that being said, let’s move on with the article! How to Enable The Dragon Age Origins’ Console
Many games come with the console disabled by default. After all, console commands are often only made to be used by developers; not by players.
Unfortunately, Dragon Age Origins is one of these games as well and enabling its console is a bit tedious. Here’s how to do it!Non-Ultimate Edition
The process of enabling the console slightly differs between the Ultimate Edition and the “normal” one. Here’s how to do it for the non-ultimate Edition:
*Create a shortcut of the “daorigins.exe” file (Not the launcher “delauncher.exe”)
*Right-click on it
*Select “Properties”
*And while in the target field, add enabledeveloperconsole
Things are a bit more simple for the Steam version since all you have to do is:
*Head over to your Steam library
*Right-click on the game
*Select “Properties”
*Select “Set Launch Options”
*And add -enabledeveloperconsole
And as for Origin:
*Right-click on the game
*Choose “Game Properties”
*And in the command line arguments, type: -enabledeveloperconsoleUltimate Edition
Things are a bit tougher for the Ultimate Edition:
*Open your Steam library
*Right-click on the game and select “Properties”
*Select “Local files”
*Go to the data folder
*Open DAOriginsLauncher with an editor (Notepad works just fine)
*Find this line: <true action=”execute” file=”${BINARIES_DIR}DAOrigins.exe” path=”${BINARIES_DIR}” autoquit=”true” />
(Use CTRL+F for that. The line should be at line 184 between ‘autoquit=”true”‘ and ‘/>’)
*And then add: arguments=”-enabledeveloperconsole” at the end of it
*The final line should like like this: <true action=”execute” file=”${BINARIES_DIR}DAOrigins.exe” path=”${BINARIES_DIR}” autoquit=”true” arguments=”-enabledeveloperconsole” />
And that’s basically how you enable the console for the two different variants of the game. Before we move on to the commands, let us mention one last thing.
Even after enabling the console, you won’t be able to see it. It’s invisible by default. So, you can either type in blindly and hope that everything turns out well – or you can install a mod that makes the console visible.
One last thing that you need to is set a button that will open the console. That can be done by going to:
*“My Documents” folder
*“BioWareDragon AgeSettingsKeyBindings.ini”
*Use CTRL + F to find “OpenConsole_0”
*And after the “=” symbol, add the button of your choice. For example: Keyboard::Button_Tilde is the one that you need for the tilde “~” button which is also commonly used for most games
Do keep in mind that this may end up causing issues for non-American layout keyboards. And if you realize that this is the case for you as well, try using a different, common button that’s not used in the game.
And with all that out of the way, let us check out some commands. Dragon Age Origins Console Commands and Cheats
Since there are a ton of available commands to use, we’re going to try splitting everything into smaller categories to make things easier for you. For starters, here are some very popular commands and cheats that are mostly focused on your character.
runscript pc_immortal: Toggles God Mode (Basically makes you invincible. However, do keep in mind that some cinematics will reset the command)
runscript addtalent [Talent ID]: Adds the specified skill, talent, or spell. (You can find a list of IDs in this page)
runscript removetalent [Talnet ID]: Removes the specified skill, talent, or spell. (Basically reverses the above command)
runscript bowlingforferelden: Surrounds you with a globe of energy for 20 seconds and knocks

runscript killallhostiles: Kills all enemies in the vicinity
runscript restore: Restores stamina and/or mana
runscript selectparty: Brings up the Party selection screen (Do keep in mind that this can end up breaking various quests and characters in all sorts of ways)
runscript zz_money [Value]: Adds the specified amount of money (May end up freezing the game)
runscript levelparty [Level] [Player Class]: Levels up the Party to the specified level (The default value is 2). The selected class needs to be either Warrior, Rogue, or Wizard. Do keep in mind that this may end up destroying everything in your inventoryKingdom Come Deliverance Cheats Xbox
runscript zz_supercrit player: Gives 1000 mana + health, and 50 strength + dexterityCharacter Creation Commands
These commands allow you to modify your character. There are 2 ways to do that.
The first method creates a character that starts at level 2. And since it’s a new character, all the inventory and plot items that you had will disappear. Here’s how you do that:
runscript rogue [Level]: Makes you a Rogue with the specified level
runscript warrior [Level]: Turns you into a Warrior
runscript wizard [Level]: Turns you into a Mage
The second method makes it so that you won’t lose your inventory. However, it can have some other side effects – such as affecting your origin and making it so that you’ll lose attribute points.
runscript roguex [Level]: Turns you into a Rogue with the specified level
runscript warriorx [Level]: WarriorKingdom Come Deliverance Console Commands Teleport List

runscript zz_getparty: Adds Morrigan & Dog and Alistair to your active party (Using this command before they’ve joined your party can end up breaking the game)
runscript zz_dropparty: Permanently removes the entire party (The only way to add them back is by using the zz_addparty command. But, their character development will be lost)
